Paris Mexis is a stage designer and director and works in opera, theater, dance, television, cinema and advertising in Greece and internationally. He also designs exhibitions and corporate events and works as an associate creative director in the Beetroot Communication Design Agency. He is a frequent speaker and delivers lectures, seminars and directs workshops on his topics to colleges and universities in Greece and internationally. He teaches on a permanent basis the Athenian Artistic Group (AKTO) and works as a communication consultant at the CGS Private School and the Mind the Fact.Festival.

He is the President of the Board of the Set Designers and Dressmakers Society of Greece, a founding member and Member of the Board of the intercultural artistic education non-profit company POLYPHONICA, addressed to children belonging to socially vulnerable groups, a member of the Committee of the Ministry of Culture for Dance and a member of the World Organization of Set Designers and Technicians (OISTAT).

Paris Mexis was born in Athens and studied stage design in London, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (MA Scenography, BA Theatre: Design for Performance) and Prague, at the Divadelni fakulta Akademie Muzickych Umeni - DAMU (Opera Design), Indoor Architecture and Decoration at AKTO and Middlesex University (BA Interior Design, Best Performance Award in 1998 and 1999) and music at the Model Experimental Conservatory.
